My best guess comes out of the following facts that I heard on the radio. He was a child abuser who continued to be fascinated with the JonBenet Ramsey case. He corresponded with a professor who had written a book or investigated the case. Several months ago, his said something odd that made it sound as if he had personal knowledge about the case.
The professor contacted the police, and led Karr on to an actual confession. Entrappment is not the right term, but they guided him or something like this to a confession. It was impossible for the investigators and/or professor to tell that Karr was one of those people who inexplicably confess to crimes they haven't committed, especially since they were only carrying on an e mail correspondence and not seeing him in person. At any rate, this professor sounds as if he now has real doubts about the validity of the confession.
He belongs in jail for child abuse and pornography, but probably could not have killed JonBenet.

It is all very odd. I hope he did it so they can resolve the case. He does seem inaccurate in some of his details. Maybe reality and fantasy are mixing together in his mind? I am sure they have more on him than they are letting the public know. I did read that there are some particular details of the case never released and he knew these details. I don't know. Even if he didn't do, he is one strange guy. I read that he didn't turn himself in. He was corresponding with a professor in Colorado who grew suspicious and turned him in. They were checking on him and discovered he was working with some young children in Thiland. Very strange guy. Hopefully, we will hear the DNA results soon and then we will all know the truth.

It bothers this person that we don't have better punishment system for first degree murder. The questions being raised show fallacy of death punishment. IF and using very big If he was paid to confess or is so whacked out this is attempt at fifteen seconds of fame.

Does his confession match the evidence? Does he know the family? Does he appear coached by the killer? Do you have a link to the story I have not read it? I do not know the story so I cannot decide. I always thought it was her brother anyway.

KKB, in yet another sign of the apocalypse, I am in full agreement with you!
This is the wierdest part of this case yet! It makes no sense and it's just plain odd. There are even conflicting witness statements as to whether he was even in Colorado that Christmas day. What the heck are we supposed to make of all this?

id be very surprised if the father of jonbenet was not involved somehow, his(the suspect) confession makes no sense, according to media reports there are holes in it,I'm convinced her parents had something to do with this.

There's something definately not right.....The facts aren't adding up, you know. It is odd that he confesses after all this time...I don't know...The parents always seemed "strange" about the murder, too. Maybe I'm just reading more into it...

Any time a child molestor makes himself know it is a good thing. Not sure he killed Jon Benet but I am glad that the press and media can let the whole world know to avoid this guy.

I don't know why this is the top story when our President is breaking the law by wire tapping us. Every time the President gets in trouble a bigger story comes out just in the nick of time to save his ***. This has happened to many time for it to be dumb luck.

I read that he was obsessed with this case and is mentally ill - and was not anywhere near Colorado at the time of the murder. Of course these are all liberal media lies - there was a conspiracy between Clinton, liberal college professors, atheists and flag-burners to murder her. They killed her because she knew the truth about Whitewater.
