I'm not sure of the title of his sermon, but Jonathan Edwards was responsible for the religious revival amongst the Puritan colonists in the 1700s. He's really famous for his fire and brinstone sermons and his message about making God your reason for every act you do during the day.

It was after that sermon that he discovered his ability to talk with the dead and started his "Crossing Over" series of sermons, which eventually to his TV show.

It was 'Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God,' preached in 1741. He became president of what is now Princeton University in 1758. That same year he died of smallpox.
