yes that is normal. Most women don't drop til they are about a wk away from labor or maybe even less. You may not even drop at all. If the plug comes out this early then another build up with replace it, UNLESS you are about to go into labor. BUT with a little over a mth left the doctors would stop it anyhow. I was dialted at 4 at 36 wks and then left it be til I was 38 wks and got preclampsia and then they broke my water, but they said 36 wks was so soon. Goodluck and CONGRATS

It's common to dilate a centimeter. There is no such thing as a mucus 'plug'. Your body continually makes mucus as a way of trapping bacteria away from the baby. Since you haven't dropped yet, it usually means your muscles are in great shape. Sounds you're doing everything right.

Every pregnancy is different. Your baby will eventually drop.
Mine dropped at 32 weeks which is normal for me since I deliver around 37 weeks with all my kids.

With my first son, I didn't drop until I was in the delivery room. Every baby is different.

yes it is normal
All pregnancies are different but the only time you have to really worry is if your water brakes and nothing happens.
Just be patient and it will happen
