Odie has always been depicted as a brainless, tailwagging drool machine. Then today's comic has Odie standing by a sign that reads 'Please wait to be seated.' Garfield comes with a smaller sign and changes the signs. The news sign reads 'Sit' and Odie sits. When did Odie learn to read?

Yeah, I'd like to know as well. Dogs are intelligent beings though so ya never know. They surprise ya sometimes. I sometimes think my dog can talk. I'm just waiting till she starts having a conversation with me. I might freak out! Ha ha!
