im thinking of getting a sony ericsson k800i as my contract is due up soon and thinking of getting a new phone.i want to know what you think of this phone the positives and indeed the negatives if any.i personally like the camera and video section on it and its not a heavy phone.

my rating is 6.5/10. it's because there's a lot of more better phone produced in the market with the 3G capability, autofocus capability picture quality shot, Expandable memory wth the use of MMC or memory card, MP3 & MP4 capability, bluetooth is in of course!

I got my Sony ericsson K800i on contract with O2 at the beginning of July.
The camera and video features are spot on and the screen is really clear. It holds its charge well, and as you say its not too heavy, though I personally find it a bit bulky compared with my last phone (a nokia 6230i).
When I got my K800i, I initially was looking to get a nokia n80, but after playing with the two phones in the shop for about 1/2 an hour, the K800i got my vote.
The only thing I haven`t got to grips with yet is transferring my photos to my PC, but this is probably down to me not reading the instructions properly rather than anything to do with the phone!
It would have been nice if Sony ericsson or even O2 for that matter had included a memory card in the box as they are expensive to buy, but that really is my only complaint about the phone.

I've had mine for a week now on 3 mobile and I'm very happy with it. The camera is excellent and has many carmera features you would find in a normal digital camera. The screen is very clear 252,000. You won't be disappointed.
By the way I got mine from www.three.co.uk the phone was free and I got the 1st 6 months half price (£15) 2000 texts 600 mins 50 mms 50 video mins and 30mb of internet use.

yeah its kancked you'll probably opt to of undone it the day it went in and heated it decrease than a lamp for a week. the water might want to oif now were given into the circit, so i imagine of your particular to desire a sparkling telephone the orange comfortable in basic terms means its dected a fault

I GUESS YOU SHOULD GO FOR W700I OR W810I.
BOTH HAVE SAME FEATURES, INFACT W80I IS BETTER
BCOZ W800I LOOKS LIKE TOY WITH WHITE AND ORANGE.
REALLY BAD LOOKING.
