DODGE BROTHERS Ford didn't have a foundry. HE was smart though. he had the crate that the blocks came in, made with certain length and width of boards. they could be used for the floor boards of the car.

Ford built his own engines. He pretty much controlled everything that went into his early cars, even so far as owning a rubber plantation in S. America so he could make his own tires.
