Hi everyone I am nearing high school graduation and want to go to college to study Criminal Justice. I am very interested in Crime scene investigation/Forensics and the psychology element. My focus being on homocides/serial killers. No I am not one who's become much obsessed with this over seeing law and order aswell as CSI thought, I do beleive those two shows are great I have actually picked up books and read up on this field. I also meant to add in profiling. The thing is I'm not sure where to start, what classes to take in college, and I'd really like to talk to somone who is allready working in this type of field. Thank you!!!

I am not in Criminal Justice, but my daughter was saying the exact same things you are saying. I recommend the website linked below because it has a great search engine that allows you to choose a college based on things like majors, class offerings, Type of School, Location, Campus Life, Size, Housing, Diversity and many more. You fill out a questionnaire and it lists schools with which you will match up. Its criteria options are robust and you will find the school for you.

I looked at it for schools that have Forensics classes. There are two ways to come at Forensics. Through Science and through Criminal Justice. Once you are in the major, there are lists of classes that are suggested to you by the school to fulfill their requirements for graduating with the degree. Electives you can fill with additional classes in the field or advanced courses of the required classes from prior semesters.

When you get to the site, find the link College MatchMaker and click it and you are on your way!

Good Luck!
