Average heights have increased due to improved nutrition. Given that for most places, at least in the western world nutritional needs are taken care of the increase in height may tend to slow down. While the average height has increased throughout history it may be noteworthy that the extreme has stayed about the same (the 7 ft range) throughout history and will almost certainly stay there. Looking back at pre-history it was an advantage to be larger. Generally a larger individual would dominate and be more attractive to the females, therefore having children. The shorter individuals would be less likely to reproduce so therefore their genetic line would end.

According to Al Gore, we won't be here in 1,000 years, as we will have fried the earth. In case he is wrong, chances are that the average height will be eight feet, five inches for men, and ten feet, seven inches for women. Men will weigh 350 lbs, and women will weigh 425 lbs....and everyone will eat tacos.

I am taller than my mother and my daughter is taller than me. So I guess in 1000 years everyone will be about 6 ft. tall.

i think the average height wont be much more different then it is now.
Even though I came from a 5'2 mom and im nearly 6 ft tall. My mate is shorter and our kids will more then likely be shorter- so in the long run it will all even out eventually again.

Your question is moot as there will be no human beings in a thousand years. Given the increasing rate of damage to the environment, it is highly probable that human beings as a species will be extinct in approximately two hundred years.

Overall, not much taller.
Neanderthal man stood about 5-foot-5.
Modern man is about 5-foot-9
That's a time gap of 130,000 years.
Perhaps 5-foot-11, but no guarantees

You appear to be such an optomist . . .
Do you really believe that humans will continue to exist in 1000 yrs?
Size won't matter then --- even the huge dinosaurs are gone
