I have a peer, at management level, who pushes her way at every chance she gets and makes everyone in the management team unhappy. No one is willing to voice it upwards because they know the boss would avoid the conflict.

isn't that sick. I guess there is no point talking to the boss as he seems he doesn't care or maybe too frightened to do anything. Well you have a choice, leave the place and let the rest suffer or tell her off quoting what the rest are saying about her in front of those complaining about her.

Office politics - aren't they great. As long as this isn't a case of professional jealousy, why don't you and your peers get together and tell her in no uncertain terms that her behavior is unacceptable, and if she doesn't smarten up, you will go to the boss en masse.

If you see it unfair, set up the meeting between She and the crazy boss to let him know that he is acting unfair. Maybe face to face meeting speed up the matter or later thing will not go smoothly in the unit
