I am 31, have a lot of hair, no history of baldness.
My front hairline is intact, there is just his quarter size bald patch I never noticed before (about a half inch past my front hairline, at my part). No other signs of thinning. is this the begining of me going bald? How do i stave it off? is there a product I could use. How expen$ive would it be to have an implant in that area? I have longish (and a lot of it) hair, so you can't really see it when my hair is combed, but man, I know its there. Don't tell me to get used to being bald!

This sounds like alopecia areata. Look it up. You probably want to see a doctor because while the condition is not necessarily dangerous, it could be a sign of other health problems. Some doctors prescribe ointments, etc, but unfortunately there is no cure and the various treatments have limited success rates. The good news is it can spontaneously reverse itself and the hair will re-grow, but the bad news is you might lose a lot more hair before that happens and the condition tends to recur throughout your life.

it could be a temporary patch, we as humans lose up to 100 hairs a day normally, so this could fill in again over time. Give it several months.
There are hair transplants, the larger the area the more expensive, but the base fees remain the same no matter the area, check your local listings for doctors or centers that specialize in this procedure.

I think bald men are sexy, don't be so vain about your hair because you are probaly going bald. So here's the deal, shave your head man, put a shine on it and your good to go,and you don't ever have to worry about a bad hair day either! And you will be surprised how many women will notice you!!!!!!!!!
