That I was more Christian than most Christians.

I was great compliment because I understand the context he referred to, being a good person and helping others. I had just told him I was Atheist. I was told that again some time later in life.

as a single dad, i think the nicest compliment i have recieved was a mothers day greeting from a few of my female friends. my ex abandoned my kids and i, so i thought it was awesome

My oldest son is in the Army...We were in a store and a lady in her mid-80s approached my son and wanted to read his dogtags. He politly showed her and she started to cry and turned to me and said that she appreciates ME for standing next to my son in our time of war.Telling ,me that i raised a fine outstanding
young soldier.THAT was the ultimate compliment...
