Speaking of NBC's "America's Got Talent".. that show was pretty horrible but the girl who won was obviously very talented. All I could think about watching the horror and shock on her face at winning was that her life is never going to be the same and how many people she will have to deal with asking for things from her. Then they immediately being showing a show about how people's lives were ruined by winning the lottery. Did anyone else find this kind of disturbing?

I didn't think about it before, but you've got a point. Who in their right mind gives an 11 year old a million dollars anyways. That's just crazy. Her parent are going to spend it and all of her family and by the time she's old enough she isn't going to have nothing. They shouldn't have kids or old people on there.... period. I feel for the girl cause it's going to change her life for sure, and not for the better.

I didn't until you mentioned it partly because I don't watch windfall. However I think that the main reason I didn't was because it was pretty obvious by the end of the show that all the people who made it to the finals were going to be making some big money in the next year from plenty of other places Bianca is gong to make even more than the million she just won. I also hope that she is already getting some good advice about that.

A million bucks isn't a windfall... that's basically what we'll need for retirement. Two or three million would be better.

A million bucks isn't what it used to be...
