I use Clinique products because they are made for oily and acne prone skin. I use the 3 step cleansing system and the make up. I use an oil free foundation and oil free loose powder over it. They will give you a free make over and help you find the perfect products for you.

Use the clean & clear moisturizer and oil reducer. It works almost like a mattifier (a mattifier reduces shines and helps protect your pores from becoming clogged and breaking out).It is in small white bottle with a purple cap with a pump. It really works well bcuz I too am the same way. A foundation to use is the Neutrogena foundation. It has acne medication in it. Don't use powder because it will clog your pores and cause even more breakouts. Use oil-blotting sheets.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

use both....apply the liquid foundation evenly over rough spots or acne, dont rub it in.....pat it in. I recommend using the "BASE LUMIÈRE " illuminating makeup base first, to smooth out the skins texture. It Contains osmopure, an anti-pollutant that helps protect skin from environmental damage. Silicones allow formula to glide on effortlessly, providing a smooth palette on which to apply makeup.
Then apply the loose powder to your entire face. I recommend using the double perfection creme poudre, as it moisturizes rough spots/dry spots as it adjusts to the specific needs of your skin. Balancing makeup formula controls shine in oily areas and hydrates dry areas. Light-reflecting pigments disguise fine lines and imperfections. Crystalline powder allows for easy application, perfect adhesion and long wear.
Lastly the "double perfection compact" powder is easily smoothed onto skins surface with a light touch. You can use it dry for sheer coverage, or with a lightly moistened sponge for a long-lasting, velvety matte finish.
I hope i was of some help.

I have the same problems as yours and i use Bare escentuals for make up. It works great. Don't use liquid foundation because it tends to make you skin oily.

I would suggest a liquid, powder seems to show more acne and gives the 'dry' look. Try MAC tinited moisturizer, its not too thick but still gives an even color.

i think using both workes best (regurler foundation and powder foundation.) I just started using Loreal Paris foundations and they work pretty well; and they're cheap.
