...hit an animal with your car?
I hit two deer, or rather, they hit me. Two large bucks. It was one of the scariest situations I've ever been through. Did $1700 worth of damage to my car.

They ran out in front of me in a curve at 5am. There was no avoiding it. The big one hit my hood so hard it left a head print. The smaller one got caught in the tire well, and I drove over it. My insurance paid 100%, but I swear...that has to be the most frightening thing I have ever experienced.

yes I have and it's a horrible feeling
But my son once hit a big work horse with his little Fiero - had to put the horse down, had to trash the car, my son went to hospital to be checked over but didn't even have a scratch (if you had seen the car, you would think he had been killed) --- while in the E/R, they brought his twin brother in after hitting a deer (he was OK too) --- I'll tell ya these 2 have the "twin thing" going on (sometimes it's scary) --- the accidents were about 20 minutes apart and about 3 miles apart!!

I hope you're okay - that's scary! I saw a deer hit a car in front of me several years ago. I stopped to see if I could help. The woman was bleeding because her windshield shattered and hit her face. That was before everyone had cell phones - I went to the nearest phone and called the police.

Yes, but nothing big.
A couple of birds and a baby bunny.
The baby bunny was the saddest, it was still alive but suffering and couldn't move. I decided the only way I could put it out of its misery was to run over it again. I was only 16 and it was awful, I thought about that for days and lost sleep. Even though that sounds barbaric, I think it was the best thing to do.

No, but I've hit a poor defenseless Jeep yj and a completely helpless concrete garbage bin.
$60 damage to yj...$600 damage to my car
$300 to city for running over stop sign..no damage to garbage bin....$4500 damage to Grand Prix.....plus $500 deductable.

I have not.
However, when I was younger, my dad hit a dog.
it was awful. I'll never forget it. Thankfully, it did not kill the dog. we were going slow and he was pretty big. We loaded him in the car and took him home.

Several times I've run over skunks. Usually they're already dead but I run over them on purpose because I like the smell.
