My boyfriend and i have been dating for a couple of years. I know I want to spend the rest of my life with him, and he has stated he feels the same way about me. I think I want to ask him to have a wedding. How should I propose to him? Should I have a ring for him?

You should go on a picnic to watch the sunset. Just as the sun is setting behind the horizon, take out a ring and ask him. Have some sparkling wine available for when he says yes.

Congrats!

Yes you should have a ring for him and you should pull out all the stops, prepare a great meal or go do something you know he'll love to do and have fun with it be creative, just don't get married too close to either of your birthdays I was married 7 days after mine and I don't get 2 really great gifts I get 2 ok gifts! Sucks 4 me!Congrats and good luck!

just do it like any other man would. have a ring, look him straight in the eye so he can see all the emotions and love u have for him, and tell him exactly what he means to u. love is such a wonderful thing so if the oppurtunity comes along for u to have this love for the rest of your life- don't let it go. he sounds like a very lucky man to have u want to make it so perfect anyway congratulations and good luck

do you remember where your first date was? was it a special date? if it was i think that you should re-enact your fisrt date with him and make all the more better! and in the end i do suggest you get a ring it will let him know that you mean business and that you really love him! i was proposed to once and he took me up into the mountians in utah, and we hiked nad had a picnic lunch, and then at the end when the sun was setting and we were sitting and watching go daown he proposed then and there...it was so romantic! i can gladly say i was hapy then...bu ti dont wanna get into my probs...i think you are lucky, so good luck!!

ok well you could take him for a walk in a park beside a nice lake and have a picnic togethor you could write him a poem before hand and then give it to him with the ring tied inside of it with a red or any color ribbon and just tell him that you want to have a wedding

I say take him somewhere romantic and make it a night of surprises. Get on a knee and present him with some token of your relationship, which can be a ring or something else meaningful. Congratulations and good luck!

Awwwwww that's sweet! =) I say do whatever in your heart feels is right. If you want to get a ring then do so. Hopefully you can find somewhere that WILL let you guys actually get married though. Alot of places you can't....damn closed-minded people! Congrats & best of luck to you both!! =)

No ring!
Something special. Something simple but with a special meaning to both of you.

that's really sweet. yeah maybe u get him a ring and then hold a really romantic dinner with his favourite love song playing. then a stroll by the beach with proposal would be perfect :)

Sure, have a ring and go down on one knee. He'll either be swept off his feet by the romance and sweetness, or see it as ironic and cute.

Good luck!
