What did the doctor suggest? If he's not giving you the best treatment for your daughter, you need to take her to another doctor to get a second opinion.

I know you said that you've tried every kind of cream and lotion but I would suggest Vitamin E cream.

I found that hydrocortisone anti-itch cream works for my daughter-she has severe dry skin eczema and itches herself to the point of drawing blood- the doctor also put her on the allergy medicine Loratadine. The dermatologists that I took my daughter to said to apply lotions (whatever you find that may work) after their baths and not to dry them (the child) completely off-so as to trap moisture to the skin after applying lotions. The hospital pharmacy at the University of Virginia has a cream that they make that has ingredients like tar lotion, iodine, etc. that worked really well for my daughter(the only drawback is that it stains anything it touches and your child almost has to wear full pj's in order not to ruin bed clothes). If you are able, (I don't know how far away you are) you might want to call them and ask about if it would possibly help your child. Sorry for being so long winded....

When I was working in day care we had a little boy there who had the worst case of exzema I've ever seen. He'd scratch until he bled. We ended up smoothing vaseline all over his body to help with the itching, but other than that we didn't find anything that could clear up the exzema.

Try the Hemp products from "The Body Shop" and cut out dairy! Really, cut out all the dairy. I know it's hard w/a 1 yr old, but you can switch her to soy.

Have you tried Aveeno Oatmeal baths? Also, they have a line of lotions.

See if you can get an allergy test done on your daughter. Sometimes food allergies can trigger eczema attacks.
