First off get it out of your head that the Red Sux are going to sweep the Yankees. It could be the other way around.
Remember this September 15-17 we get them for 3 games at our place. Our schedule is also more favorable than the Sux. They play more teams with a .500 or better record than we do for the remainder of the season.

No, I don't think so and like you said I don't think it's gonna happen, I think NY can take at LEAST 3 out of 5, if not 4-1 or sweep them. Boston's pitching is pretty much garbage right now, not that the Yankees have any flamethrowers tearing up the league right now either, but the Yankees have the better hitters, they should feast off of the rookie John Lester, and off some of the gopher ball Josh Beckett loves to serve up, and as far as the rest, Schilling might pitch them ok, Jason Johnson is horrible, Wakefield is garbage and Papelbon hasn't been so hot lately either.

Of course not! Ignoring the fact that it's AWFULLY difficult to get swept in a five-game series, the Yankees are only getting healthier. Their starting pitching is becoming more consistent and their relief pitchers will get some much-needed rest. Besides, a 3.5 game lead is nothing that New York hasn't fought back from. In the end, the Yanks would pull out on top; they always find a way.

First, since they beat the red sox in game one it won't be a sweep for Boston, remember there is another 4 game series at the bronx, but a sweep would have only made it a bit tougher for the yanks.

No way the season would be over.....the red sox are playing below .500 ball since the allstar break.. They are always terrible in the second half of the season. The yanks still have a 3 game series agaisnt the Sawks in NY. There is a month and a half of baseball left....lots of game to be played.
And with the Sawks sucky rotation, there is no way they can take 5 from NY....Jason Johnson and his awesome 3-11 record vs 13 game winner Wang....enough said.

I don't think so. I think that if they do(which they WON'T!), they'll start a losing streak at one point and the Yankees will regain the lead. Besides, I think that the Yankees will win 4-1. Just look at the pitching lineups and the bullpen. In Wang-Johnson, Wang is a great pitcher while Johnson is a terrible pitcher, so the yankees have that one won. The other games will be hard, but manageable.

No, the Red Sux will NOT sweep the Yankees. I think the Yankees will win 4 games and loose 1. Even if they do sweep us (which they will NOT) our season isn't done. Remember, think positive thoughts....the Yankees are going to win.
