Anyways My answer was we should stop pregnancy....My thing is that People are so quick to have abortions but why not take the time to not get pregnant...And for the girls who say..its a womans body she should choose...well then guess what..I think if the woman decides to have the baby then the man can decided not to pay child support...I think its completely retarded to think that its just a womans choice whether she has a baby or not. It takes two to make one...she just carries it. I also think its funny how so many pro choicers will support killng un born fetus's yet be completely against war....its hilarious!

well, the man doesn't have to carry it or risk his life birthing it.

My point is that sometimes it can't be helped-
in rape cases I think that woman has to decide for herself
if she wants to end the unwated pregnancy or if she can forgive
enough to carry and raise that child. There is no other person who cares what happens to that child- only her.

I think people need to understand that things go wrong sometimes- women do have tubal pregnancies that kill them,
and women get raped at 12. And women need to have options available to protect themselves.

I am not an 'abortion fixes everything' person but I feel
women need to have the choice available. If abortion is illegal, women will get illegal abortions. That is just how it is.

Women have been ending pregnancies for a very long time, with tools and herbs. If a woman is desperate, she will find a way, in an herbal shop, or a backalley doctor, or overseas pharmacy.
It's better for women's health if the abortion choice remains legal
where it is covered by the medical profession.

Think about how you would feel if it was your mother or sister who was raped and then died under the backalley doctor's tools
because she couldn't stand to birth the child of violence?
Really, just think about the other person's point of view
for a moment and see that there are real reasons abortions are needed.

Most pro-choice people I know are not completely against war, just the ones which they disagree with reasons they are being fought. Many pro-life are for the death penalty, kind of the same kind of funny huh.
You are very misinformed, people aren't so quick to have abortions, most have trouble making the decision and believe they are doing what is best for all involved.
You say she just carries it, you don't mention that she is also usually the main caregiver. Many men just walk away from the responsibility of raising and supporting the child after it is born in cases where they aren't married. Even in many married families the role of child care falls mainly on the woman. Look at divorced couples, most often the mother has custody and the father has visitation maybe every other weekend. The mother can tell you everything about her child, the father often doesn't even know what they like to eat. There are some great fathers out there and many men are stepping up and taking a larger role in their children's lives, but realistically women still play the main role in raising children.
Yes people should use protection against unwanted pregnancy, they should teach their kids to. However so many are intent on preaching abstinance instead of communicating with their kids. If they took the time to communicate then maybe their 17 year old daughter would come to them and discuss it with them and they could make sure she was protected rather then her just take the chances because her parents won't listen.

And you miss the irony of how so many so-called pro-lifers are pro-war? As to abortion being both peoples' right, I can't really argue with you there. I realize it's the girl's body being commandeered by a fetus, but: If the sex was consensual, the abortion/birth should also be consensual, and the child support should be consensual as well. But, on the flip-side, there will be a bunch of people of both genders that will try and abuse this. But that was gonna happen anyway. Was this question about abortion being allowed/banned or about whose right it is?

I' m a women and I just wanted the man to get me pregnant so that I could have the child I wanted no support from him at all I just wanted my kid an that 's exactly what I got and it's great I raise my own child. So, where I'm at if your not smart enough to protect yourself ladies don't count on any worthless man do it yourself you got yourself into the position by not being prepared so you get yourself out.
