Actually what you want to keep track of is the date you last *started*. It's a lot easier to keep track of and the start date is technically 'day 1' of your cycle.
I don't know how to tell when you're period will start if you don't know when you last started. When it starts, mark the calander. Then when it starts next time after mark the calander and count the days. Do this for three or four consecutive months and it will give you a good predictive number of days for when you will start.

If you use something like Fertility Awareness Method you will always know when your period is due, however if you are wanting to know when your very next period is due then the only way of really knowing is knowing your body well enough to see the signs - PMS and cramping if you have them, I personally can tell because my breasts get large and sensitive, my sense of smell goes and my pee smells different.

I get a pain very low under my tummy, It lasts about half an hour and I start the next day without fail.

if its posted by first class then it should arrive the next working day but i would allow 3 days before contacting royal mail.

Oh yes, usually I get cramps and my stomach gets bloated the day before or the day of my period.

There isn't really if you've totally forgotten. You should know your body well enough to know when it's on it's way, though. I do.
And take no notice of Jessekatsoup (or whatever) he/she/it calls everyone a MORON. Only word it appears to know.

i usually have cramps a couple of days before. but no, other than that i duno, i just try and write down whever im on and have a date(s) where i might be on.
