What does 30-30/150 by Stone Sour mean? I don't get it!! Not so much the whole song, just the 30-30/150 part. HELP!!

Ugh...What's with all the smart @ss answers? I am trying to ask a serious question. I LOVE Stone Sour and their new CD kicks @ss. Just wanted to know what 30-30/150 meant.

Shot gun shells???A 30-30 is a rifle shell. Everyone makes them. They are used for lever action "Cowboy-style" rifles. They have blunt tips because they line up in the magazine and a sharp tip would hit the primer. The 150 refers to the grain in the 30-30 shell. It's said that the song is somehow related to school shootings.

How did you guys come up with the songs 30/30 150 and what does it mean?

30/30-150 was written by Josh and Corey. Josh wrote the music and Corey wrote the lyrics and vocal melody. The rest of us added our flavour after it was demoed. If you read the lyrics you can get your meaning from it.
