I went through a little frightening experience the last time I had sexual intercourse with my girlfriend. I did not use any protection and after I ejaculated, I noticed that the sheets were stained with blood spots. At first I thought that the blood might have come from her, but later I noticed that the stains on the sheets were spurted from the ejaculation, confirming that the blood was from my semen. This was the first time that something of this nature has occurred and I am really alarmed. I am 27 years old, healthy, monogamous and am experiencing no other symptoms that are obvious. (Hematospermia)

Once this happend to be after a painful groin injury at foot ball practice, and also after an accident during sexual intercourse. It should go away eventually, but you may have a cyst or a tumor on your testes, your prostate, or other glands that affect your semen production. You could have a cyst or tumor on your kidneys as well. I dont want to scare you, but if the problem persists, go to a doctor ASAP. Better safe than sorry.

Blood in semen can be caused by many conditions affecting the tubes that distribute semen from the testicles (seminal vesicles) or the prostate gland. The most common cause of blood in semen is inflammation of the seminal vesicles or prostate gland. Blood in the semen can temporarily be caused by injury to the prostate gland, such as from prostate biopsy.

This is serious dude go see a doctor asap!!!!!

No, I've never experienced it before. How often do you have sex? Do you think you could be over-ejaculating or having sex a little too much in a short time period?

Yes, you should really see a doctor.

Or go to webmd.com

Yes, I have had exactly this problem. My doctor said it was nothing to worry about, but after a year or so of this happening on and off, I insisted I be refered to a consultant.

I should have listened to my doctor, because after a barrage of tests in hospital, they found absolutely nothing wrong.

However, if you are over 40 years old, as I am, You should go and see your GP to be on the safe side, but, in my experience, you are probably perfectly ok.

This is because you slept with the prostitute in Amsterdam (per your other question), IDIOT. You and your wife need to get medical attention because you both have gonorrhea, or something worse. Stop thinking about you're own d*ck and get your wife to the doctor before this ruins her ability to have kids. Don't take THAT from her too, idiot.

Yes, I had a similar issue some time ago and also found rapid resolution through contacting Yahoo Answers - Doctors, they're over-rated.
