not really but it pretty much helps with the flowand the songs that rhyme are generally easier to remember. this may take away some meaning of the song thought. but rhymes also sorta give the song more of a pattern and a balance if u dont wanna rhyme like the 2nd verse with 1st or 3rd with 1st u can always try other rhyme schemes too or make up something.

They don't have to rhyme, but alot of people tend to use lyrics that rhyme because it gives it a sort of flow.

I don't think they have to rhyme but most do because of flow, My opinion is you can sing what you want as long as it all goes together and is about something, and if its got a good beat to go with it, It would all be great..

They don't have to, but sometimes rhyming lyrics are better than ones that don't.
