Microfiber cloths work well for dust, but for marks you will have to find something at the store. There are alot of cleaners for monitors but make sure you read the label because most say they are not for an LCD screen.

The best thing is to go to a store like best buy or a computer store and ask for the best screen cleaner for LCD screens. This will cost you about $15 but it will last a very long time. It can also be used for camera lenses. It should come with a special cloth.

There's this special spray stuff for electronic surfaces that you can buy at hardware stores and maybe even convenience stores. I dono what it's called but it comes in a tiny spray bottle and it cleans screens (computers, TVs, scanners, etc.) like no other.

I use a chamois. it works great and does not scratch the screen. If the screen gets really dirty then I use a little water on a really fine piece of cloth and wipe it down.

if your budget's tight try a coffee filter...it grabs the dust and won't leave streaks...or if you don't mind spending a few bucks try Pledge Grab-It cloths.....these tricks work great on the TV too
