My hamster is a dwarf. I know that centipedes have a poisonous bite, painful to humans. So could one kill my beloved pet?

Keep any centipedes away from the hamster cage. A single bite to the smallest mammal could cause it to errupt into itself. Just get extra-security for your hamster and maybe kept somebody on watch at all times just in case.

nope, not something to worry about. centipedes prefer dark areas (like under dead leaves outside, or in the walls/under old boxes in storage inside), so the likelihood of one climbing into a brightly lit area in a room, like your hamster's cage, is low. centipedes aren't hunters of creatures as big as a hamster, in fact, the avoid larger animals that would be seen as predators. the centipede would be more active at night, which is also when your hamster is most active, so the centipede would avoid an area where this larger creature is moving around. if you're really worried about centipedes, just call the exterminator.

I doubt that the centiped would likely get too close to your hamster, but I'd make sure my pet is up off the floor whenever you are not there to supervise him.

yes it can . but u dont have to worry because it wont bite ur hamster for any reason. they usually feed on other insects, unless it is a REALLy large, which can ieat small vertebrates so kill any u find, but im sure u'll b ok! :)
(my house is infested too!)
