Wow, well of course Casablanca and The THird Man deserve tips of the hat, but I would say that High Noon is jsut such a cool movie. I mean, it really tears at you how this guy is trying to keep peace and order in this town but he ends up getting treated like the villain, still makes me wish I could've worn a star.....

Imitation of Life
and why not? it's one of the best movies ever made. the story is wonderfully true to life, but tragic to the point of making adult men cry. it is wonderfully acted, the cast is perfect, and it gets you every time. i own it....i wear it out. already bought it twice. gonna have to get the DVD, i suppose. now i know what i'm doing tonight....thanks.
oh, and all The Thin Man movies......

Sabrina, Miracle on 34th Street, Casablanca. Heck, I'd probably love them all if I'd seen more. Black and White movies are so great!

It's a toss up between Casablanca and To Have and Have Not.
I'm in my 30's and my husband introduced me to them, his dad and him used to watch old movies together.
I guess that when I watch them I think of when we were first dating and how in love we were. It makes me happy to think how lucky I am in my life.
