How could I get a MILLION people saying a certain word in 2 weeks with only $1000?

I start off with a thousand dollars cash, and a made-up word. In two weeks, at least a million people need to know that word. How, specifically, do I do it? (Not concepts, but actual how-to, step by step).

If you reach a million people with a "made up word" you have done what advertising people would call "branding." I think with $1000 dollars you could have a radio ad in a major city that airs during commuting time. You will reach about a million people if this ad runs a couple times, depending on what station you go on. Another idea to reach a million people may be a Home page featured listing on eBay. Considering the amount of traffic they get, a million views (but not clicks) is very possible if you keep it on for 2 weeks.

Hit discover over 12 or 24 million on answers probably a million people will see it. I could start a word by simply saying this is a new word and in a short time it would be in the dictionary.

It was miss said on mork and mindy It was so funny all school kids called each other dork's meaning dumb people.
Now it is in the dictionary because so many use it.
Just like the word Hippies. they wore Levis with low cut midriffs.
It appeared their pants were riding on their hips. The pants had bell bottoms which further gave the illusion of hip riders.
So someone no one knows who, I think it was someone who was in politics called them hippies. It stuck! Now hippies is a famous word grownups use to call anyone they don't like.
Meaning your not dressed up enough.

myspace or facebook is a good idea to attract intrest. just send an invite to an event where you would record as many people people saying the word, pay them 1000 divided by a million just for saying it on camera. or go to a crowded place (public park, sports game, streets of town center... ) and just ask people to say it. dont even explain it or anything. if u live in NYC or LA, it shouldnt be that hard to get at least 100,000+ people a day. just walk in the street, go up to anybody and ask them to say the word with a camera in their face. 9 out of 10 people will say it and walk on. make the word easy and short so its easy to say. like narf or shizzle. another option is to start a website saying youll donate money everytime someone submits a video of themselves saying the word. or for every 10 people, you give a penny or somthing like that. good luck.

Well, I don't really see why you even need the money, but I also don't think you'll get 1,000,000 people to know the word. Here's what I think you should do:
1. Say it in front of every single one of your friends and let them become familiar with it.
2. Tell them about your plan, and tell them to use the word as much as possible.
3. Tell them to tell their friends to use the word and to tell others.
4. Use it when meeting new people.
5. Soon tons of people will know the word!

Well, since so many people like to be on camera. Act like your from a new television show, and walk down the street with a camera and a microphone asking people to say the word. In order to get them to say it, you should tell them that it is believe that if this word is said three times then their ultimate wish will come true. Some bullsh*t like that.....

Find a way to make a Google hack that when anyone looks up sex, your made-up word shows up as the first option. As far as I know, sex is the most looked up word on Google. If not, find the one that is the top searched word and use it.

Print your new word in magazines and newsprint even on the internet. The key is to use your new word in a hot topic...., say the JonBenet story, and as a direct quote, that will get people talking and repeating that new word.

Go to a public place with a lot of people everyday. Make signs and posters of what your doing to make people interested. Walk up to groups of people and ask them to say it. Have someone help you. Actually, have a lot of people help you.
