A solid burgundy tie would work the best. If you don't have a solid burgundy tie, then use a solid color that will coordinate with the color of the stripes or the color of your suit.
But remember - you should always where solid color ties with striped or checked shirts.

depends on color pants, shoes, and whether you wear a coat/jacket with it..... black or shades of gray usually look the best.... what color are the stripes with your shirt? Use solid colors with striped shirts, patterns or prints with solid shirts
