The easiest way for me is to open two windows. Under File select New Window. Use that window to go to the web site to which you want to link. Put the mose in the address to the left. Under Edit select copy. Now go to the window with your email. Put the curser where you want the link. Under Edit select paste. Voila! it is there.

Generally with email it will have that special color for links. Blue in my case.

Go to the website you wish to link to- highlight the address in the address bar- right click and select copy- go back to the email you are composing and right click the area or place where you wish to insert the link and select paste. Some email programs will have a link button i.e. AT&T/Yahoo! mail has a link icon in the tool bar where you compose the body of the email. It looks like a little chain link and asks if you want to create a hyper-link. Left click on the icon and a box will open where you can put the link address- then repeat the above steps.
You can put links on Answers the same way to direct people to info they are looking for.
Hope this helps and have a greaat day!

If you want to create a link to a website, you can go to that website, copy the address (for example: http://www.yahoo.com ) and then paste this in your email.
Another way to do it, is just type the link yourself.
Make sure you include the 'http://'-part! If you don't include that part, your recipients can't click on it.
Good luck!

Make sure that the email is formatted to allow HTML codes. Go to your settings/options and find an option that allows this.
To type in a link in your email, for instance to yahoo.com, type in yahoo homepage . Replace the "www.yahoo.com" with the address of the website you wish to link to. The text between the and tags will be the text that links the user to that website.

It is according to what email client you have and how you want to do it. This text box works much like a web based email client such as Yahoo uses. For me to make a link here, all I have to do is type in the URL and when it is published it will be a click able link.

An easy way is to open a second instance of your browser, go to the way site you want to copy, hi-lite the URL in the Address bar, right click it and select copy.
Go to the body of your email message, right click again and select paste.
Have fun and be safe.
