Quick summation - AT & T maintains a large number of computers that are a backbone of the Internet. Most traffic goes through these computers at some point (not all though). In these buildings that house the computers are rooms that are off limits to anyone that the NSA hasn't cleared. They have wires running to these rooms from the main router backbone that handles the internet traffic through these buildings.
There is no information released to the public as yet about what these rooms are or what they do with the information they get, but EFF has filed a law suit to stop this practice, and a judge has upheld the case even though AT & T and the Federal Government have tried to stop the trial through the use of the "National Security" excuse.

It is possible, but I doubt it. It would be a tremendous commitment of resources. The "spam" filter does not even work on my Yahoo mail. I doubt if a filter could reliably detect suspicious answers to be referred to an agent looking for terrorists or child molesters.
If you think a specific person may be using Yahoo Answers to send terrorist messages you might consider reporting them anonymously.
Terrorists are busy people. Terrorism is their job. They work hard at it. I doubt if they have time to ask and answer questions on Yahoo Answers.
Here is a poem by Robbie Burns that was written a long time ago but may be applied to some of today's terrorists:
"On Thanksgiving For A National Victory"
Ye hypocrites are these your pranks
to murder men and give God thanks?
Desist, for shame proceed no further
God does ne want your thanks for murder.

Yes. I know some of them. A couple of weeks ago my antenna started picking up signals. I looked outside and there was a black car in front with two men in fedoras. I went outside to offer them some lemonade. They said thank you but they were not able to drink on the job. We became friends. They said they were from the CIA and were there to stop the Martians from kidnapping me. I thanked them. They told me that they had intelligence from a reliable source that Mars was under attack from muslim radicals who had gone there to get menial jobs and then started blowing up innocent Martians. Because Martians have their brains in their feet, the muslims started be-footing innocent Martians. I told the CIA I'd be glad to help.

Why? There are no names here really, and Most questions are silly and meaningless. The 1 percent that are real don't deal with terror and if they did the normal "snooper" programs on yahoo would see the keywords.

If you think their not then think again!..The i/net is where they get most of their info, listening in on chatrooms and places like this, email intercepts, it all gets monitored, they'd have to be idiots not to!..How do you think they catch most of the i/net porn people?Easy, they monitor it all !..There is a case that most of this monitoring is illegal, their always being challenged on it in Australia, but i can understand why they have to do it! If they catch Ali bendover and gamel abdul camel planning to blow up a public dunny in New York i think perhaps its justified, dont you?

That an interesting question because I have seen liberals threatening to commit treason, kill the president, start a civil war, etc with impunity.
