It would most certainly be yesterday because this is the era of the history that I am most familiar with. What will I do? Now, let’s see. I will find myself there first. It would not be so difficult, you see, as I will know exactly where I am, and in what mood I am? What I need to be helped with? And what is on my mind? What are the things that matter to me most at moment in time? I will first of all give myself a hug. Me and myself then will go out we will look at each other. Talk to each other in gentle and soft terms. There will be little surprise and more of familiarity. It will be easy. I will tell others that I am my twin brother. I will tell myself all about that happened within the next twenty-four hours. Not a big deal, no big harm done, no dangerous secrets revealed, and no major history altered. We will talk about things that matter to me and myself. I think we together, me and myself will have good time. And then when I will return back into the future, that will be the present, I will be myself with an added memory of a happy and familiar myself of yesterday.

We're in the best era now. I don't think anybody today could cope with the life of the previous generation because we are too used to our comforts.
If I had to though it would be several hundred years before whites arrived in America, living the nomadic life with the Native Americans/.

I'd like to go back to ancient Greece and pal around with Socrates and his disciples. After a while, as my Greek got better, I would start to collecting embarrassing anecdotes about Socrates, Plato, etc. Then I'd return to 2006, and whenever one of my friends said something pretentious about Plato, I'd be like, "That's cool. But did you know he totally wet the bed until he was fifteen?"

Then I'd say something in ancient Greek, and everyone would make excuses to leave, because they're embarrassed to be in the company of someone as cool as me.

I like the 1940's. Seems like a tough era, lack of women's rights, minority rights, etc. However, on the surface, I love the women's clothes, and how feminine women were and how masculine and in control the men were.
