Corruption can never fully be stopped. There are far too many many who refuse to do physical labor. Money replaces the need and symbolically this was a reason for the creation of money. As far as India is concerned the people must first rise up and refuse to be treated like animals. In today's world nobody should be inferior. How can the majority of people in India believe they are second class citizens?

seems like it's a popular thing these days- to be corrupt and not really even hide it very well- like the people are powerless do do or say anything to stop it- so now it's OK to openly abuse the system...it's like street gangs are running the world or something...
the US supposedly the worlds super power- more like "stupid" power appears to be the cause and source of the corruption sentiment- we gotta thank all those who put the corupters in power-

My hope is that the world understands that at least half of the US didn't want the current leadership in office-

The US is happy to play India and Pakistan against each other, just like Isreal and Leb and a big wish to have Syria in on it with Isreal- Bush dropped his Dad's peace plan AND Clintons peace plan, and went with Cheney's "Clean Break" from peace plan he wrote in 1996 with Perlman-

Anyhow- Pakistan has recieved WMD from the US AND is protecting Osama- ...that just doesn't sound right to me....

PLAN- peace does not happen as result of war plans- peace and development must have thier own strong plans- war is a temptation of weakness and old paradigm school to make wealthy the weapons sellers- this world is supposed to be well past that stage- the fools who participate in such violence put the vast majority at risk and set the world back 100 years-

"Plan for Peace!"

Power corrupts - it's human nature. You give a decent man power, and eventually he will use it to corrupt. Of course that's a generlization, but it's the root of all corruption. Why? Because you cannot corrupt if you don't have the power to.

We have to stop corruption in our own country first, and considering there has been corruption in our government since the day it was founded, I doubt that will happen. Sorry to burst your bubble!

Corruption is just another transaction cost. We can't do anything about it here except shift our suppliers to nations with lower costs. When India suffers enough, laws will be passed and enforced or else they will elect new leaders. Right now, it looks like the leaders are delivering to the people so don't count on anything happening too soon. (In countries not fortunate enough to be democracies, they are condemned to the choices of poverty or revolution)

education is of utmost importance
so educate ppl to choose the right politician to know their rights and to learn to fight injustice.we don't go out to vote and when the chosen one is a criminal we crib .to fight corruption ,first of all we 've to clear our self of all fears and make a union agst the government and fight other wise India can never ever become successful.control population try to fight injustice instead of fighting against each other(communal fights)ppl r taking disadvantage of our internal fights and the government is just filling their pockets with the hard earned money of common ppl.please for GOD sake say gud morning to our rights and fight for injustice ,but the whole system is become so much rusted that somebody like late sanjay Gandhi can by hook or crook fight corruption.the laws should be made so harsh as in middle east so that anybody dare ask for a bribe I DON'T THINK ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN .ONLY GOD KNOWS THE FATE OF OUR COUNTRY

As Ghandi said, "be the change you want to see." We can hardly talk when this country reeks of corruption, and though one personally may not feel the same way, one only needs to look around to see the world feels differently.

I don't think you can, it's a cancer in society, even the truthful and honest people realise it's a losing battle .... so many people who were honest are becoming corrupt because this seems the only way to survive today. Heaven help us !

One way to end corruption in politics . the laws should be made very stringent . That is for corruption , the minumu punishment should b life sentence with hard labour ann confiscationof all properties of the person ,of his wife and children for thereason that they failed to expose him .
Secondly any government elcetd by the people should be perfectly and totally under the control of the people . That is th epower of recall should be there . If ten per cetn of the total number of people voting in a election requir a ballot for recall of he person, a plebacite should be there to recall or not . politiacl parties sould b abolished .the presetn day politicians would never agree to that , because they can not come to power and make money.
So we will create a new poltical party . The party will not nominate people for election. The party should ensure the preparation of the electoral roll newly , including all eligible votes and eleiminating all bogus entries to the extent possible . The candidates to contest election on behalf of he the new party will be chose by draw from among the votes in thelist . this elen=minates fraud and corruption at the first stage itself and loosens the grip of caste community and favouritism and family dynastic rule etc. another good effect of this [procedure is that at no time it would be possible to choose by draw many rogues and criminals and the possiblity of selecting honest people o=is very high. Again , now it is only on paper that the people are therulers and at presnt only people with money , power and people alone cancontest election. the new party provides a real opportunity for every one to contest election also . A numv=ber of people should be chosen like this for each constituency . Beause, the political parties who stand to loose will try to purchase the contestent of the new party by paying himmoney and some people might fall a prey to temptation. So the final candiate will be decided on the last date4 for withdrawal of application in the order of juniority. The contetants so chosen will be required to give in writing to the party tha he will resign his membership if after election as memer he does anything contrat=ry to the policy of the party that niominated him to the election. This procedure should be made public and the people should b made aware of the new procedure by which every one of them will also have a chance to become a member of th legislature withut having to spenf money and being corrupt .This u=is sure to catch the imaination of th public . The procedur shopuld be adopted for tehwhol;e of inida and for the parliament too. The first and primary thing that the members of the parliament should do is to cscrap th presen constitution which is a bundle of lies . It was not made by the people . but by a group of people who arrogated o themselves the right ot legislat on behalf of the people , the people really not knowing what is in the constitution . A new set of constitution prepared in the most sensible and useful for building a strong Inida should be framed involving leaders of all communities to ensure a fair deal to all. That should be published in teh dailies for the comment and views of the people and the views of he people shoulde considered on the basi of majority opinion. And a new constitution draft ed on t4ehbasis of eh views of the peole should be enacted by the parliament and all teh legislatures newly elected under the new procedure making th new procedure of election as the only mode of eklction . all political parties will cease ot exist and all self made leaders will / can do nothing . People will think of earning money by working and not by becoming members of h legislatures at their will. no body will able to challenge say with any authority that he will come to power at his will and do anything .The political partythat introduces the new procedure will ceas e to exist and the people will elect a group fo people from various walkes of life to form a panel to look into complaints from th people agiojst the legis latures to decide on conducting a plebacite o recall any member . We can devise wonderful maechanism by which noman and no group can hold thenation to ransom on the sterenth of his case community , creed or eligion. If Inida is to be a real strong democratic country , this step should be taken to drive away all corrupt men and criminals from politics . Politics should cese to be a profession and a family business of rogues .This is the only way to do it and this is done perfectly in accordance with the present constitution and procedures . That is the speciality of this scheme . No one can oppose it legally and no one can ever think of succeeding against it as it will e on the sole strenth of the people of all hues .
