When something happens to a rabbit, they howl. Ever heard that before?

Yes, they do scream and usually when they are being attacked. I hear them in my yard alot when the owls go after them. It's not pleasant to listen to.

Our neighbors rabbit let out a scary sound that scared the poo out of me once. I looked out to find a dog was in it's cage. My husband ran off the dog. That was the worst sound I'd ever herd next to my own children's screams of pain when they would get hurt.

Well, my rabbit did a "Yup" sound before. Was wondering what was that. Afterwards we reliese that when she is afraid and has no where to run, she will make is sound. Quite interesting to hear a sound from the rabbit....

yep when my daughters rabbit chewed through an electric cord he howled

YES! They squeal and it sounds a lot like a little kid screaming.
I know, because I have rescued many baby rabbits before, and one way you can locate them is by their screams.
It's sad, really, to listen to their cries...
