depends on where you live. places with mostly fair-skinned inhabitants tend to think darker complexions are better looking, and places where most people have dark complexions like fair skin better. it's a matter of taste.

Well, I think it's sickly when a blond is fake looking that's were they go wrong. Personally I have dark skin all year long. I love it now, but when I was young my cousin would make fun of my skin, I know now she was very jealous and I look better then she ever has. and I don't even have to work at it. BTW I'm Indian. So for me a dark haired tan women is hot.

i wud prefer a dark complexion but unless and until it is healthy.becoz glow always wud be found on a healthy skin dosent matter dark or fair.99% is dark complexion.

Meh. Either one is nice but, I personally prefer fair complexions. As far as gender goes, I think it's more about the undertones than the actual shade. I think girls who have more warm tones in their skin look nicer as they can be light and still look "soft". Boys onthe other hand, look nicer with cool undertones. Especially if their skin and hair/eye color clash.

And what will it mean 4 you if someone says they don't like whichever complexion you have?There's no way you can go from one to the other,so why ask?Best thing to do is work with whatever you have to the best of your ability.......whoever approaches you obviously liked your complexion.Worry about yourself.........anything else is bad business.

fair can be great if it's a flawless look. i can be pretty fair in the winter, but i always have some blotches here and there, so i wear make-up to even it out.
i think i look better tan.
so, i vote darker complexion looks better, unless you are lucky enough to have porcelain skin.

To bonnyrogue - do you always say racist when someone discusses skin color? sheesh. good thing you don't live in an era where tvs come in black and white.
