I know that this is not going to work out. My job is to manage my own anger, which is not very much. But it's not my job to manage his. I just wanted maybe a 3rd party to just let me know an opinion

Your right about it's not your job to manage his. I tried keeping the kids quiet, the bills as low as possible, the work done around the house, general problems to a minimum. Yet still he seemed to always go off on some tyrant. My only consolation was once he exploded and got it out of his system it was done and over with...in his book...while I, on the other hand, was left a cringing mess. I tried talking to him about anger management counseling but he always said he didn't have a problem, if it weren't for my stupidity he wouldn't have to say his piece (rave like a lunatic). Even when I talked to his Mom about his carrying on like this she just said it was the way his Dad was and she just got by on his good days. Well the good days no longer worked for me and I walked away before I got old and totally dependent on him and his outbursts.

Anger Management should be a mandatory class in grade school. We are all angry at one time or another and it would be nice if we were all trained how to handle it.

If you keep pointing fingers at each other you will never get past this. Marriage counselling will help. I suggest anger management classes, self help books, tai chi and yoga can help as well.

Good luck
