Colouring books and paint by numbers
Board games (not the boring ones the ones for younger children like operation and stuff)
Get a clown
Give them McDonalds
Get them some clay or plastercine, some aprons and get them to make stuff
Frisbee in the park
Murder in the dark, red light green light, dead soldiers...

um, going to an arcade, in the summer, setting up a slip and slide or other water acitivities; going fishing- (get mini fishing poles and go sit at a lake or something and teach how to cast, playing basketball with a mini basket hoop, getting a t-ball stand and a lil bat and ball to hit balls, treasure hunts with candy as the treasure- make a map and clues, make a pin'ate (sp) with the kids, then let them break it open to get the candy, make forts out of leaves or in the house with blankets....

anything OUTDOORS!!! Kids of this age range spend way too much time watching TV or playing video games (in my opinion). Kudos to all the parents/caregivers out there who encourage their kids to stay active!

Try activities like hide-n-seek, dodgeball, kickball, twister, swimming, etc.

Sit them in front of the TV and then go in the kitchen and get drunk for the rest of the day. If the come near you, ignore them.

i work in a daycare and they love any kind of active game like going ouside and playing: hide and seek, tag, T.V.tag, freez tag, red rover, redlight green light, what time is it Mr. Fox, draggon's gold, and so on, their are alot of options when is comes to kids.

playing with their poop, using crayons on the wall, sticking their fingers in outlets, pulling cats/dogs tails, and crying..
