Another concern is that rabbit's backs are very easy to break, so you'll have to handle the rabbits more gently than the guinea pigs.

i'm a rabbit individual. :-) Rabbits are quieter than guinea pigs. Guinea pigs do squeek and squeal often. Guinea pigs are greater senstive to drafts than rabbits. Guinea pigs would desire to have nutrition C further to their food as a supplement or they gained't stay. Rabbits stay longer on time-honored. One rabbit will do high quality...2 guinea pigs would get alongside interior the beginning up and then make certain to unlike one yet another and would desire to be separated. in case you have 2 guinea pigs you will would desire to be a hundred% advantageous of the sexes or 2 will exchange into many greater!

They poop a lot more, so you'll have to scoop poop/clean cage more frequently. Also they will pee anywhere you let them in your house, and they well also chew anything. Of course this can be trained out of them.

And catching them to put them back in the cage can be harder because they can run faster than cavies. But both are great pets to have.
