How can we take Democrats on here seriously...?

When 90% of the questions asked contain name calling and put downs?

Also, how can a Democrat expect a serious answer when they ask questions like that?

I know that Republicans do their share of name calling but just look at half of these questions on here. Are these adults asking questions or 5 year olds?

I know I am going to get crap for this question and probably a lot of name calling too. Try to be mature when answering. Also, I already know that my name here is stupid.liberals but that isn't anything compared to half the crap on here.

I already said that I know my name is stupid.liberals.

However, I had a week long email discussion with a Liberal without one time calling him a name. He couldn't send me one email that didn't have name calling in it.

What I want to know is why?

I don't think you will ever see a democrat talking seriously about anything or for that matter a Democrat being taken seriously by any one who has a brain and can think for them self......the only people that will take a democrat seriously is the world communist party, anyone who wants too see harm done to America or any of its true allies, and last but not least the poor sheep who blindly fallow the democrats....

Most democrats know only name calling and put downs....

.....oh I forgot they also love crying about lost elections and they love blaming other people specially republicans for their own screw ups...

I'm a Dem., adamantly opposed to the vast bulk of the GOP agenda, but I agree that the level of vitriol is offensive and stifles real debate. However, it's a mistake to say that the Dems are more guilty of this than Republicans. It was Republicans, after all, who went so far as to impugn the patriotism of Democrats who dared to question the administration on the war, including decorated war heroes like John Kerry, John Murtha and Max Cleland, who lost an arm and both legs in Vietnam while the Pres., the VP and Secy. Rumsfeld were stateside. This is at least as offensive as the race-baiting and class-warfare tactics of many Dems.
I, for one, am willing to respect opposing opinions when they're well-thought-out and supported by something more than gut reaction. In fact, I find intelligent debate stimulating, and have even had my opinions influenced from time to time.
The sad truth is that divisive tactics are used because they work. The blame for this must ultimately be placed at the doorstep of the voting public. We may talk a good game about hating negative campaigning and wanting substantive discussion of issues, but history shows that negative tactics yield results.

It' s the same old same old from the lunatic fringe on both sides. I'm hoping when school starts we will have less of these monotonous questions. The adults who asked hate filled questions are in another world far from reality. Their hate is a cancer running through their bodies and apparently there is no cure.

You can't take any Liberal seriously. How can you take someone seriously if they think a nice chat over coffee will fix this whole mess you terrorists.
Republicans on the other hand, know the facts and are a little more serious about the issues. They are also not afraid to get the job done.
Some Republicans do go over board but not nearly as many as Liberals.

Your figure of 90 percent is rather high. I once thought it was done on an equal basis, but considering your question is totally hypocritical, and the number of snide republican answers on this post, I think I have good reason to believe it's mostly done by the Repubs.

I don't take Republicans seriously anymore because as many of the answers here say, they are just as guilty of name-calling and mean-spiritedness towards Democrats. They just don't want to take responsibility for their own part that they play in the mudslinging.
