I agree with you I don't think he killed the Ramsey girl either. I think he may have done something in the other country that he knew when he got caught the prison would be worse there instead of in the US so he made it out in order to get back to the states before the Thailand was able to charge and prosecutes him. Something just isn't right about the whole situation. I think he was about to get caught there and knew the good old USA was a easier way to serve in a prison. I hope they find out for sure who did this awful act

Iam not so sure this guy is the murderer. It could be something so much bigger though. Who knows because I don't. They should have tested the d.n.a. against his before arresting him. Also John Karr's ex-wife and her friend says he was not even in Colorado at the time of the murder so go figure. Maybe he wants the attention of such a high profile case.

I think Karr is a vary disturbed man possessed by the crime committed, we will really never know who did it but my money would be on the mother, and now that she is gone it will simply be a unresolved crime, unless DNA proves otherwise and we will just have to wait and see the results.

He says he did it, but his exwife says he was with her and that he has a fixation on the case. He also has sexual assault charges from before. He would be a good pawn for the police so that they could finally close the case out but I think something smells pretty fishy.

I would rather reserve judgement, and let the legal machinery work on the problem. It does seem ,though, the guy is crazy: maybe a little, maybe sometimes a lot.

Other people who might know, like his ex-wife, have said he was never in Colorado. (In those years.)

No, I don't. The guy looks suspicious but 10 yrs. have gone by....it's just too weird. He might be doing this for the fame. I still think the family knows the killer.

Someone in her family killed her. But we may never know for sure. This guy is just a wack-o trying to get attention.

It is so sad to know that is she was still alive today she would be 15 yrs old!
If you look back 10 yrs when she was murdered the police were inexperienced in murder scenes and any forensic evidence was tampered with because family was let into the house. The police were not capable of collecting all of the evidence. The ransom not was left on the bottom of the stairs and her body was found in the basement with her blanket. There were windows that were open and an open door, the basement window where her body was found was open. The Ramseys reported the window was broke some time ago. There was snow outside of their house but there was no footprints and there was no snow tracked inside the house from shoes showing that someone entered the house. The evidence showed there was no forced entry. The police estimated her time of death to be shortly after she was put to bed according to the condition of her body tempature at the time of death. This lead investigators to believe that it was either the Ramseys or else someone was in the house. The estimated time of her murder, there wouldn't have been enough time to write the note, commit the offense and leave the house. There was also evidence that a stun gun was used on her, the items that were used to commit the crime were thought to have been brought with the intruder. There were people to come forward as being witnesses to the murder. There was a therapist that tried to report that her client who was a sexual predator and into child porn confessed to the crime. There was a woman in Virginia that claimed to talk to a girl that was there and witnessed the murder of JonBenet. They brought in an experienced homicide detective that concluded that there was an intruder and the Ramsey's were removed from police suspicions.
John Karr has not added up to all of the evidence yet to say that he is the one that killed her. They are waiting to bring him to the US for questioning. His wife claims that he was not in CO in Dec 1996. Whoever wrote the ransom note wrote the ransom for the amount of John Ramsey's bonus check that he received. Karr was married to a 13 yr old girl at the age of 19. She filed for annulment less than a year later because she was scared for her life. He married a 16 yr old shortly after that and had twins that died at birth. Knuston, (the 16yr old) divorced him when he was caught with the child porn. He was told to stay away from his wife and kids for 3yrs. He was not allowed to work in the U.S with children no more because of the charges brought up against him. He pleaded not guilty to all of his convictions here in the U.S. He told police that he worked overseas with children and the police checked his resume. The people that the police contacted on his resume said that they didn't remember or never heard of him. His wife stated that he was "disturbed" about JonBenet's murder and kept up with the case. He also spent alot of time studying the case of Polly Klaas who was abducted from her home in CA in 1993. He has been brought up on charges in Thailand for sexual problems with children.
In his confession to the crime he stated that he drugged JonBenet and there were no drugs in the autopsy report and he refused to comment on how he got into the house to get access to her. He claimed to have picked her up and dropped her off at home and taken her to the basement of her house. He wrote a paper on the jonbenet murder in college and his professor suggested that he write a book about it . He can't describe how he killed her and he claims that it was an accident.
I am starting to see after the evidence that is collected that is not against him that he is doing this for the purpose of getting out of Thailand jail system. He has studied the case since 1996, that would give him enough information about the crime to try and confess to it. It won't give him enough to get him convicted. He faces more harsh punishment over there for his crimes. He has had 10 yrs to confess to this crime if he had a guilty concsious. It has been reported that he loving the attention that he is getting from the press. I don't see how you can sexually assault a child and say that it is a mistake. The one thing that still baffels me is how someone would kidnap someone and take them to the basement to escape when they would be right nex to the door upstairs on the main floor. Why would you kidnap someone and assault them in the basement and then flee? Wouldn't someone be afraid of getting caught in the basement? I don't expect the DNA to show that he commited the crime and I don't believe that his testimony will add up with the crime scene. I think that if he is innocent of his crimes over here, we should let Thailand have him back. He is a suspect in the murder of the girl from CA and he did flee the country on other charges so he may get to come home and go to jail. I think he is trying to avoid getting a real punishment for his crimes. He will learn not to commit crimes outside of the US because they will take the skin off of your butt.

It's hard to know without knowing the reasons why they arrested him. But he does appear to be one freaky feller. I'm sure keeping him in jail will be good for all humanity.
