Being that I'm still in high school and I have two more years left, I know that I have time. But I want to be able to know alittle more about Bussiness Administration and Accounting at least so that I will have some knowledge of it. So what can someone my age do to start?

Your local community college should offer a course. See if you can take one just for fun.

I would try talking to some local businesses and see if you can help them out a few hours a week. I found that learned so much more hands on then in classes for accounting. By doing some work in it 1st the classes and the topics will make a lot more sense to you as you go along.

You may be a little young, but you could see if there are any summer internships for next year. And take whatever accounting or business courses you can while you are in school.

Do you know how to balance a checkbook yet? Why don't you ask your parents if they have any old checkbooks that they don't need? You can ask them how to balance a checkbook, and practice on the old, unusable checkbooks.

Also, you must have an allowance. What do you spend it on? Why don't you try creating your own budget with the allowance money you get. Create a chart in Microsoft Excel for your budget and tracking what you spend your money on.
