My Austrailian Shepard is a priss.
Whenever she passes gas she either snaps her head around and looks at her rear as if saying "Who did that?" or she quickly gets up and leaves the room like someone is bothering her.
Our other dog stares at my son for hours like she is lovestricken.
What does your pet do that makes you laugh?

My cat used to turn her back on me if I upset her. If we had been away for a few days she would let me know that she wasn't pleased, she would sit with her back to me and look at me now and then and look away if i called her!

I "kidnap" peoples dog's b/c I can't have a pet. Anyway this little cocker spaniel named Jax was at my house. I have one of those "fart" bags and I held it over his head and "farted". He got up and turned around and looked at his butt. I thought "Noooo, he does not think it is coming from his butt." Did it again, and several more times he never did figure out it was me and not his own butt. I finally had to stop b/c I was laughing so hard tears were running down my face. Silly puppy. He will also nip at his paw, when it itches, and then growl b/c he hurt himself. Great dog.

P.S. Sounds like a great household to raise a family Iggie, complete with eccentric animals.

Wow, good question Iggie, there are some really great answers here. Maybe we should, as a matter of course, post a question about our pets when things are getting to hot and heavy in the political/religious/social arenas. May make us all remember that this site is for fun. Who's with me, zany, silly, witty and fun!!!

Mandy (cat) follows me when I take the dog for a walk. This is a pain because I have to stick to the path in the woods and go slowly.

Star (cat) has an obsession with food and tells me when her dish is empty. She is also too fat and lazy to care that we have a dog now...it takes a lot of effort to swat at the dog so she only does it when the dog is really really pestering her.

Willow (dog) barks at her bones and other toys. She will also eat anything. She lays at my feet when I am preparing food and I frequently trip over her.

My dog is a mix Lab Retriever/Chow/Collie and he has sort of a similiar trait -- he hates anyone who makes "passing gas" noises (real or faux). So he starts barking and jumping around the person making the noise until it stops. ^_^

My chinchilla, Midnight, will close his eyes and stretch his paws out when I stratch his belly. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen. When I scold my dog Chewy for trying to run out of the room, he puts his whole body down and very slowly continues to walk out (like I can't see him or something).

Everything my dog does makes me laugh. she is the clown of the dog world. Recently she rolled of the bed and then looked at the bed as if it was the matresses fault. she goes bersek if I poke my tongue out at her, if I ignore her she starts to throw her toys at me (she's got bloody good aim as well!) and if I'm annoying her she puts her paw on my mouth as if to shut me up. BTW my dog is a Yorkshire Terrier.

Opie the cockapoo is a sniffer. He never stops sniffing. *sniff sniff sniff sneeze sniff sniff* all day long. And in his sleep and he's very excited about whatever it is he is sniffing. As far as farts and Opie go...they don't get along. Opie is very afraid of farts and the noise they make. If a person farts he panics and barks. If he does it himself he has a panic attack.

My horse likes to smell me. Especially when he's living alone he'll come up and smell my forehead very carefully with each nostril until I move or leave. Also, our rooster jump on my shoulder to crow if I sit down. He also cleans his beak in my hair or on my cheek.

One of my mini dachshunds sleeps like a person: on her back, under the covers, w/ her head on the pillow. It's the craziest thing ever & cracks me up.
