It comes down to a significantly personal moral question. However the fact that you had to ask that indicates that there was indeed some guilt, if you are in a committed monogamous relationship and you hooked up with someone else, without his knowledge and or consent then pretty well yes you cheated. Men are turned on in both a physical and fantasy way at the thought of two women - but that rarely translates into happyness when the partner is off with someone else without the male involvement. Two apparent chocies - tell him or not. But if you tell him then be prepared for reactions from both ends of the spectrum.. either anger or interest - and make sure you are aware that if interest he may well be interested in a threesome...

My wife had a sexual encounter with a woman, a 1 time thing after being married to me for 14 years. She came to my job to tell me about it, she asked me if I was angry and I said not really, but I was. I knew she was a little bi-curious, and was willing to let her try doing a woman, but I was supposed to be able to watch and even participate if the other woman was ok with it. I felt like I was cheated on because she did this when she knew I couldn't be home at that time. This was the start of the end of my marriage to a whore.

Yes it's cheating even with a girl...but your bf probably won't be as upset as he would if it was with a guy. You're not married and if your have an open relationship, then all is fine. But do you really feel good at it??

As long as he feels secure in that he is the only man in your life, then perhaps he is ok with you hooking up with her every now n then.... bein a bloke myself, i can imagine he mite suggest that you dont need to hide her and that he doesnt mind being there with you two... *grin*
i think u shud tell him. if you dont, you feel guilty one way or other (either for cheatin or for lyin to him).... bring it to him nice n simple and see how he reacts. If he is cool with it as you think, then there aint nuffin to worry about. and as you said, it is not like you cheated on him with another bloke....

Cheating is cheating, IMO -- but your guy might not think so. You should ask about it, but probably as a hypothetical situation (tell him that you've been approached). If he objects, don't do it again.

If you have to ask if it's cheating, then it probably is. And, in this case, yes it is.
Will he mind? I can't answer that. He might and he might not.
