Wow! Lots of music come to mind from the 80's! I was a teenager in high school. Music defined a lot for me.... Here are a few of my favorites.

It would be a SIN to pick just one. There was a lot of great music made during this era from Michael Jackson to ACDC. I am tempted to make you a list of all my favorite stuff (and it truly ranges from MJ to hard rock), but I will refrain. :) Towards the end of the decade, we had some fantastic rock, (Bon Jovi, Ratt, Dokken, Def Leppard, White Snake, Motely Crue, just to name a few), so I must pull from that genre one of my most favorite "albums" from the rock band Tesla. In 1989 they released The Great Radio Controversy. It had a great new sound, incorporating some "bluesy" influences, along with explosive rock. One of the albums I consider a true "work of art".

The Cure is the best thing from the 80's- Robert Smith is awesome. I also love anything from Billy Idol.
