John Mark Karr is in Bangkok. He has confessed to killing JonBenet Ramsey. He says he was with her when she died, and that he called JonBenet's mother to apologize. Now the press is wining, "We are so sorry we rushed to convict the parents."
I'm not buying it. If he was involved... If he had called the mother to tell her he's sorry. SHE would have called the police. The police would have had his name DAY ONE!!!
I mean, come on. You think the parents are going to act like they did when they KNEW the killer was NOT one of them? If your kid is killed and you know who did it. YOU WOULD TELL THE POLICE.

I'm not buying this story. Are you?

The guy is a whack-job. He's just obsessed with the case. His ex-wife said they were in Alabama when JonBenet was killed in Colorado. You know an ex-wife wouldn't stand up for anyone, so I'm inclined to believe her.

Totally suspicious - I heard something in the news earlier yesterday that I found interesting: Apparently this guy was facing sex charges in Thailand - punishments are severe with "outsiders", and in many cases, perps will do anything - say anything to get deported from thailand back to their places of origin.
I can't imagine what he could have done in Thailand for him to think that raping and killing a six year old would have lesser consequences - but there you have it.

Honestly, I think the only one who knows for sure is the mother, and she's taken that secret to the grave.

Frankly, I don't care.

There are dozens of murders in this country every day; the only reason this was different was because the press thought the victim looked pretty.

Accordingly, he sent her either snail mail or email through a proxy, and after reading them she turned them over to authorities.

I'll take Karr's admittance at face value and agree he's guilty.
