I do not live in hostile environment. I live in twilight zone. It means that everything seems so nice but you never know what other people think.
If you live in hostile environment, you can know from where to expect danger. But when you live in a zone where everything seems so right and you know that is not because it has shown before, then you do not know what to expect.
For example, let say that you had quarell with your friend. Suddenly, too soon he become very polite. You know that he is not honest but you cannot see what he is planning.
So, I live in very good environment but I am very, very carefull when I cross the street, if you know what I mean.

yes i do. I live in a country with a very high violent crime rate. Driving around at night you feel as if you are being stalked and hunted. Its very disconcerting.
What do i do, well I take a deep breath and realise that alot of my fears are misguided and led by the medias false portrayal of the situation. Also I dont stop at stop signs or traffic lights.

zelda- that's my mom's name
yes me and mom live in a hostile environment b/c of my dad her hubby from hell, he yells screams,he even took all her clothes out the closet and treated it like it was trash and watched her pick it up. he almost hit her once. and has threatened to kill both of us(me especially) my skool starts a lil late this year so im home with him and everyday i call my mom to help me get through. it is horrible. did i mention he curses like a sailor. i estimate every three words is a cuss. all he does is trash talk her and that hurts to the bone y'all but im thirteen wht can i say to make it better. i've asked my mom to divorce but she's scared that my dad would intimidate me into living w/ him. so she wont divorce. my dad has never apoligized to me or my mom 4 the hell he puts us through. we pray all the time to make him nicer. but in the end i look at it like this... the almighty never puts more on us than we can bear. there is a reason to test my faith and make me a stronger person. the reason im not dead is b/c i have a purpose in life. my fav thing to say to myself when my dad is ranting and raving is my purpose is to serve God not man and that is wht i will do
