Yes it is absolutely horrible... and most women do not have the bodies to wear these pants and so their love-handles or their bellies hang over the jeans too, making a very attractive woman look totally horrible and fat when she might not be.
Anyway, the latest thing right now is high-waisted everything. VERY hig--waisted pants and skirts, I'm not sure if you've seen this around, but that's what's going on right now. Jeans, however, are not becoming high-waisted... but I think that the low-rider style has totally gone out of fashion, at least up here in NYC... the rest of the country is sometimes slow to catch on.

Um, no. The trend is a lot more recent than that, probably more like '99 or '00 when it really hit big. In '95 people were still wearing high-waisted pants. Also, this is not a question, it's a rant.

First, you must be gay or there's something wrong with you. the only people that I've ever heard complaining about women showing off their thongs or g-strings, are women, some gay men and Christians or other fanatic conservatives.
I love them and I hope that they stay here for ever!!! I find it extremely sexy for women to show off they thongs and I'm NOT the only guy who thinks that way. There are tons of web sites dedicated to pictures of girls doing just that.
High rise jeans and pants? What the hell is wrong with you? Do you think that I want to date a girl that dresses like my grandma?
This is the thing, I fee sorry for people who follow fashion. They let a few idiots in NY, Milan, and France dictate the way they dress. What, you don't have a mind of your own? You need some fools telling you what is OK or not to wear? What is cool or not? Come on people, get a live and stop letting some else tell you how to dress.
Something else, if you don't like it, then look the other way, because NO ONE is making look at those girls.

you are proberly right but i was out the other night and with a couple of friends played a game of trying to throw an ice cube in to the but crack of a girl. good fun but she did not seem to see the funny side

I think some women look really attractive. Now I would agree that some Don't ! It is their bodies and they can choose what they feel comfortable in.

We are going back to where we should never gone... To the 80's (SCREAM!!!) Now we have skinny jeans...
I am sorry but I don't want my jeans to be any more skinny and I don't want to swim in my sweater!!! I like boot cut... It doesn't make everyone look like their butt is huge!!! And what's with the strechie pants... I wore those back in 89.... WTF???

well in some cases some look decent, that is if they have the body for it, but when i see really fat ugly women wearing it i wanna puke, and they wonder where they term '****' comes from! but this trend is definently gross.
