Cholesterol medicine.It has been perscribed to me for to lower my cholesterol.I have heart failure/peri partum cardiomyopathy at age 30.I also take Coreg,Altace and Spironolactone.If you are taking Lipitor you may have to have blood level tests.That is to make sure that you have no liver damage.I have stopped taking it because my cholesterol is lower.From eating a lot of oatmeal and like cherrios with heart smart,lowers cholesterol.If a doctor feels you don't need to go on a diet he/she can perscribe it for you.I'm not overweight so the Dr.gave me Lipitor.

lipitor is atorvastatin calcium.
It's a lipid-lowering agent, a inhibitor for HMG-CoA reductase. If you want i can get into the details of it..
usually people with blood pressure from cholestorol increase take this medication.
It's a white powder pill...
