About 2 and a half years ago, i fell for my best friend...that was in school, im now in my second year of college and havent seen him in ages, but we keep in touch, like text once in a while - i still havent gotten over him...what shal i do?
I thought it was just a silly little crush, but why is it lasting this long!!!

constantly remind yourself that, everything about you had already ended.
it's time to move on and find someone who would love you more than you love yourself.

It takes time. Don't let it get in the way of making other friendships and relationships. Life rolls on, and you will find that almost everybody you have ever known will eventually disappear from your life. New people appear all the time. Times they are a -changing. Don't try too hard to hang on to the past.

if your feelings for your best friend are that strong why not just go for it. If they reject you it is not the end of the world, is it not worse to never know. If they do say no then it sets you free to find some one else and if they have the same feelings as you you will get what you want. Just go for it, take a risk you only live once.

u just have to take it one day at a time. keep urself busy with family and friends - that always works for me.
also try and focus on things that u really cant stand about him - gradually that will develop and before you know it u'll be thinkin back to how u could ever have liked him in the first place!

its probably because you are still texting each other, either arrange to see him for a drink and then you can decide if you still have those feelings you think you have, or stop all texts, that way you can get on with your life and get over him! good luck
