The easiest Outlook Express way I've found to cut down on spam is to direct ALL your friends e-addresses into a special folder you create called.....say....."friends" or something like that.

This will help you weed out the spam crap that plagues the Net.

As for the other legit mail, espicially responses to your email from others NOT inculded in your "friends" folder, have them put in a special "keyword" and have Outlook look for that special keyword and direct that email to a "legit mail" folder you should make, too.

This won't eliminate spam, but I use this technique on my own Outlook Express.....and it works very well.
