I love wearing hoodies, gives me the chance to hide my face partially when I want. Of course the people in my neighborhood are a lot different than me, they listen to pop or rap. I dress to a point where they stare at me constantly. But I don't mind, I'd rather be different, whether it gives me good or bad attention.

We get bad press because were not illuminated with diamonds and platinum, nor do we care about what the latest trend is. They think simply because we don't care about that kind of stuff that we're worthless. When in reality, everyone wears hoodies at some point or another. They're comfortable and practical, and when musicians (real musicians) are on the go, we don't have time for make-up artists to prepare us 3 hours in advance for a flight across the country to play a show an hour after landing. It's BS we get bad coverage especially when were the true, hardworking ones! I don't care though; as long as I can rest comfortably on a 4 hour flight, 3 hour time delays, and crying babies, it doesn't matter how people portray us.

Wellll...I think you'll find it's not 'people who wear hoodies' per se. It's the WAY that SOME people wear them.
It's quite obvious that some people wear them pulled up to make themselves look more sinister and threatening - the chavs, as you say.
I'm sure if an OAP was to walk into Bluewater (who have banned hoodies - despite the fact that they sell them) in a hoodie he/she wouldn't be banned since I doubt very much they'd be wearing it that particular style.
The most distinctive thing about the 'chav' phenomenon are the hoodies - since they are the source of the threatening appearance. Consequently, that is the way they are described - as hoodie wearers. But everyone knows that not ALL hoodie wearers are like that. It's just a convenient term of reference.
I'm afraid, as you yourself have identified, it is all the fault of the chavs.

Hoodies get a bad press because they are invariably worn by chavs who are generally up to no good. I'm afraid its another thing thats fallen foul of d1ckhead law, once the chavs get hold of it, they f_ck it up for everyone else who were doing no harm! Chavs or neds as they're known in Scotland have totally destroyed brand names such as Berghaus, Henri Lloyd, Burberry and Coq Le Sport, no one wants to wear these things anymore, it makes you look like a ned!

Simple.it is viewed as a nuisance. Why don't you dress properly.
Is being into metal music an excuse to wear hoodies.
Again, people wear hoodies to rob, rape and commit other crimes. If you do not want to be viewed as a nuisance, then the hood must come off.
Why is that hard for anyone to understand.Don't ask for too much rights,if your attitude outside offends the society, then change it.

Hoddies are people that carry bricks round building sites. I presume you mean "Hoodies".

Discrimination like this is just part of human nature. Whether it's right or wrong is down to an individual to decide for themselves, but however you look at it, it's just the way our minds work.

You "personal" human beings? Hmm, that's uncomplicated. in any case, human beings get a nasty press beacuse of our authorities (specially Bush) and when you consider that a lot of human beings in different international places are ignorant and have self assurance sterotypes about human beings because they have maximum in all probability by no skill met an American (gazing a movie doesn't count number) and they have likely by no skill been to the united states.

Do you mean hoodies? Maybe because some of them can't spell.

People wearing hoodies don't get bad press because of the hoodies, it is the type of hoodie, what they wear with them and their whole demeanor.
