After the delivery of a child your hormones are very low which constitutes what they call the baby blues. Slight depression afterward is normal. Call you Dr and let him know how you are feeling. He can help you. In the mean time when the baby is sleeping, take a hot bath, listen to some music..if you meditate, do so. DO something nice for yourself. If the Dr decides that he/she is going to prescribe you some medication, take it and get yourself back together...for the sake of the baby and yourself. Good luck!

You should close your eyes and think about how you have one life to live and only one chance for everything. Take every one of your fears and push them in the furthest corner of your mind. They have no place in life. Then do all the things you want to do and all the things you only wished you could do. Do them with the knowledge that although you may fail, you can never do the wrong thing. You can never make a mistake.
Here is a good quote to live by:
“Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming: “Wow, what a ride!!”
"Regret for the things we did can be tempered by time; it is regret for the things we did not do that is inconsolable."
Confidence and strength are not mysterious things. They come from our conscious desire for them.

This is normal. Just relax and enjoy your baby. Think positive thoughts and remember happy times. Try to get some exercise-maybe walking. Keep happy people around you and talk to them about your problems, Try to smile.

get out of the house every day, for gods sake. Be as productive as you can possibly be. Someties going through motions of doing happy things will bring the feelins back, even if they aren't their to begin with.
